We Sat In on the “Introduction to Chocolate” Course with Enric Monzonis


On June 11, 12 and 13, the theoretical-practical course “Introduction to Chocolate” took place at the Chocolate Academy BCN, led by Enric Monzonis, technical advisor for Chocovic. It was attended by pastry chefs and hospitality professionals hoping to get their start in the exciting world of chocolate.

During three intense and productive days, participants learned the concepts, techniques and recipes to create all kinds of chocolate concoctions, from simple to sophisticated: chocolate eggs, sachertortes, tarts, travel cakes, cookies, drinks, desserts in a glass, and much more.

At the end of the course, as usual, the students and Enric Monzonis posed next to the creations they’d made over the three days. A buffet that, more than ever, was a true chocolate party.
